Well in this verse, God DID put this mold into the land of Canaan, and it now needed to be cleansed by the priests. It talks about replastering the walls, replacing stones, etc. It also goes on to talk about having two birds, killing one and using its blood to atone for the unclean parts of the house. It's a lot. Thank goodness for Jesus. No more sacrificing animals. He did that as the lamb of God for us. And I bet they wish they had some bleach back in the day. Just saying.
